This is a consent form for child participants of the European consultation about the new Optional Protocol to the CRC Convention on the right to education. The online consultations will take place on the 28th March, Saturday, 2026.

I understand that I am signing up to participate in an online consultation for children organized by Child Rights Connect.

I understand that participation at the meeting is voluntary and that I can stop my involvement without any needed justification and at any time.

I understand that if I desire, I can have an accompanying adult to support me in my participation at the consultation.

I read the Child Rights Connect’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedure and I understand its goal is to make sure all children involved at the event are safe. If I have any concerns about my or another child’s safety, I can speak to an adult I trust or I can contact Zsuzsanna Rutai at rutai@childrightsconnect.org, who is the safeguarding Officer of Child Rights Connect.

I understand that any data or personal information held about me will only be available to Child Rights Connect and held on password protected computers. After the meeting, only my first name and contact detail will be kept on record, which will be destroyed five years after the event.
