ExCo nominations 2026

Member organisations are invited to nominate candidates for the Executive Committee to be elected in the General Assembly 2026. The Executive Committee is composed of a minimum of seven and a maximum of eleven members (art. 22.1 of the Statute), who are elected by the General Assembly from among individuals from member organisations by a simple majority vote (art. 20.1) and act in their personal capacity (art. 20.3). Candidates for the Executive Committee have to be nominated by a member organization and seconded by at least one additional member organization (art. 20.2). There can be no more than one person from each member organisation standing for elections to the Executive Committee (art. 22.2). Members of the Executive Committee are elected for a term of two years, which can be renewed twice, i.e. a maximum of six years. After three full terms, a minimum of one year must elapse before the person can be nominated again (art.20.4). Two out of eight current members of the Executive Committee will end their third and first term respectively.
