The General Assembly is a statutory and the highest decision-making body of Child Rights Connect. It requires to devote time to make decisions on several statutory items. However, the General Assembly should be much more than that as a precious opportunity for members and observers to be connected, share challenges and ideas, energize and recommit ourselves to work for children’s rights.

In particular, the General Assembly 2025 will be a critical meeting for Child Rights Connect, its members, observers and partners, where we will discuss the future of the organisation. It is also my intention to create more space for members’ conversations and sharing reflections on global landscape surrounding children’s rights and expectations on Child Rights Connect.
