Child Rights Connect taskforce on inclusive social protection has released a new report calling for Early Childhood Development to be explicitly reaffirmed as a global political priority, essential for every child’s survival and well-being, especially those in crisis-affected and marginalized communities. This report is the result of a collective effort by cosignatory organizations to elevate Early Childhood Development on the global agenda and ensure it receives the attention and investment it urgently requires. This comes ahead of important UN General Assembly negotiations on a resolution focused on Early Childhood Development, taking place from July to September 2025, with the intention to inform and enrich Member States’ discussions.
We invite you to read the report and disseminate it. Your support will help ensure that the final UNGA resolution reflects the urgency and importance of Early Childhood Development. Together, we can push for meaningful action and accountability for children everywhere, especially those most at risk of being left behind.
