Participation of the Children’s Advisory Team at the Working Group on Education

In November 2025, on behalf of the Children’s Advisory Team, Denis participated in the meeting of the Working Group on Education. At this occasion, he presented the concept note of the regional consultations to inform children about the development of the new CRC Optional Protocol on free pre-primary and secondary education. The discussion helped clarify priorities and next steps and created better understanding of the Children’s Advisory Team is planning to raise awareness about this important process. It was agreed that the child advisors will share updates about the regional consultations with the Working Groups, who will also support with distributing the invitation and the child-friendly reports.
