World Children’s Day Campaign: Children on AI and Their Rights
Lana and Tahera, members of the Child Advisory Team (CAT), took part in the campaign of the Child and Youth Friendly Governance Project on World Children’s Day, 20 November 2025. Building on last year’s successful child-led initiative, this year’s campaign invited children and young people to share their ideas, creative expressions, and recommendations on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and children’s rights.
Lana emphasized AI’s potential to transform education by making learning more engaging and accessible. Tahera shared a heartfelt poem capturing the human cost of conflict, expressing the loss of childhood joys and the longing for education and peace.
This campaign underscores the importance of listening to children’s perspectives on global issues. Their creativity and insights not only inspire but also guide efforts to build a world where every child’s rights and dreams are respected.
