School kit on children’s environmental rights and climate change

The General Comment N.26 of the Committee on the Rights of the Child stressed that environmental harm is a significant threat to children’s rights globally. Children are demanding immediate action, and their rights must be protected. To help children understand their right to a clean and healthy environment, we developed a school kit containing tools which children can use to introduce this topic to their peers and in their own classrooms. The different resources were developed in consultation with our Children’s Advisory Team. If you wish to help translate these resources in your own language or have any other questions about this school kit, please contact talhaoui@childrightsconnect.org for the next steps.
